Project Title

Together against COVID-19: Community media taking children and teenagers through understanding the pandemic and challenges brought about by Coronavirus

Project Objectives

To provide children/youth living in informal settlements/high density areas withfactual and fact-checked information on COVID-19.

Activities/Outputs

The project intends to produce “child-friendly” content in various formats: i.e. eight audio clips/infomercials, eight informative audio programmes (15 minutes each on psycho-social wellbeing), four infographics and two animated video clips. The audio content is planned to be aired by five KCOMNET member stations in Nairobi slums. Infographics and animation clips are disseminated via WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, the KCOMNET website, etc.
